Boku Art Paper
The Art Paper Sketch Books are made with 100% tree free kenaf fiber paper, medium weight 60lb cover / 163gsm, neutral pH and chlorine free. Each book has 30 sheets with a sturdy backing board, and come in three sizes; 5x7”, 9x12” and 11x14”. Double wirebound on the top or side available.
Boku Art Paper has excellent multi-use properties. The paper’s natural coloring gives a sepia warmth to the art which makes it especially good for life drawing, figure drawing and portraiture.
Kenaf is a 4000 year-old crop that originated in Africa, and at the time this paper was manufactured, grew in the southeastern United States. The plant’s fiber yield was nearly five times greater than that of Southern Pine trees. Kenaf was ecologically beneficial to grow and it created a positive impact on the environment while saving trees. This paper is no longer in production in the US.
